The Caragabal Sheep Races are back for another legendary day of country fun on Saturday, 12 September 2026.
Held on the picturesque grounds of the Caragabal Golf Course, this iconic community event promises a packed program of quirky entertainment, family-friendly activities, and good old-fashioned hospitality. Punters can get involved with sweeps and auctions on every race, while the kids will love the famous lolly drop and the hilarious sheep chase down the track.
The event features full bar and canteen facilities.
Free camping is available right on the golf course, and the atmosphere will carry on into the night with live music and fire buckets under the stars.
