On the 27th August 1922 members of the Bimbi community and visitors gathered in Bimbi to dedicate the newly erected WW1 monument.
Exactly 100 years later a public Centenary Commemoration will be held at the site adjacent the RFS fire shed, doors open 11.00 am and cuppa available.
At 11.15am a Bimbi Cemetery walk will commence at which a poppy will be placed on the graves of all known soldiers by RSL personnel .
12.30-2.00pm sausage sizzle available.
2.30 Official Ceremony commences.
