Experience the unique Ochre Arch Farm, a 480-hectare working property approximately 25km north-west of Grenfell.
Hosted by Phillip and Jan Diprose, tours offer an authentic insight into sustainable farming, wool and beef production, land regeneration, wildlife and Aboriginal heritage, while showcasing the property’s diverse landscape and spectacular panoramic views. Phillip and Jan are also happy to share their ‘tree change’ story and their passionate connection to the land.
Farm Tours
Tours are available 7 days a week by appointment, including at short notice (minimum 30 minutes), subject to availability, weather and farm conditions.
Tours are tailored to your interests and time available, with options including:
- 2-hour tours – A great introduction to the farm and its unique features.
- 3-hour tours – Includes a farm tour and morning or afternoon tea. $100 per person, minimum 2 people.
- 4-hour tours – Includes a farm tour, lunch and extended Q&A with Phillip and Jan. $130 per person, minimum 2 people. 24 hours’ notice required for catering.
- Large groups – Organised groups welcome by arrangement, with programs and pricing negotiated to suit.
- Young families – Tours can be tailored for children and shorter visits, including opportunities to meet the farm animals, visit the shearing shed and discover historic artefacts.
Visitors generally travel between sites in their own vehicle, either accompanied by Phillip and Jan or following a farm vehicle. Short walks are involved.
What to bring: Enclosed footwear, weather-appropriate clothing, a hat, sun protection and water.
Campervans & Motorhomes
Stay overnight in the peaceful Airstrip Paddock, a flat, shaded camping area suitable for self-contained campervans, motorhomes, caravans and camper trailers. Ochre Arch Farm is an RV Friendly Destination recognised by the Campervan and Motorhome Club of Australia.
$10 per vehicle per 24 hours
- Shaded by mature Yellow Box and Western Grey Box trees
- Unfiltered tank water available nearby
- Designated campfire area (outside the Bush Fire Danger Period)
- Telstra, Optus and Vodafone reception
- Pets welcome but must be restrained
- Best accessed in dry weather via Goodes Lane
- No toilets, showers or dump point
- Take all rubbish with you
